The Bureau of Land Management has a troubling habitat of repeatedly leasing key habitat for imperiled plants and wildlife for oil and gas drilling.  Center for Native Ecosystems watchdogs and challenges the BLM every time it tries to do this.  Yesterday we received a response to our protest of the February “lease sale” in Colorado and are cheering the withdrawal or amendment of four parcels because of Gunnison sage grouse habitat.
