Gunnison Sage Grouse: CNE on Colorado Matters
Center for Native Ecosystems' staff biologist Erin Robertson was a featured guest on today's Colorado Matters report on the Gunnison sage grouse.
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is expected to either publish a formal proposal to protect the endangered bird or to remove it from the formal Endangered Species Act "candidiate" list within the next several weeks. The grouse has suffered severe declines for decades despite ten years of effort by local collaborative working groups.
